The inspiration for this ministry is from the teaching in Titus chapter 2.
“Women sharing their life experiences with other women so they can journey towards lives that are God-filled and God-honouring.”
Viva means “live”! And that’s just what we intend to do! As women, we need one another on life’s journey. Through the Viva! ministry, we seek opportunities to build relationships and support one another in every stage of life.
Programs are put together each semester, with activities scheduled on varying days and time slots. This is not a regular commitment; rather the idea is to choose a couple of activities that particularly interest you. These activities are to provide women with opportunities to connect with, and build meaningful relationships with other women.
RSVPs to Robyn in the Church office are required one week prior to each activity to ensure adequate catering. Some activities have limited numbers, so get in early to ensure your place.
In addition to programed activities, we are excited to have “Viva! Women in the Word” – weekly gatherings of women all around Townsville, spending one hour feeding on the living Word of God.
