Why do we gather together as a church? Churches gather together to evangelise, minister to believers and minister to the nations.

In a sense the church is an education centre to learn and know what we believe.

Is there something we need to be guarding? We need to remember our faith and theology. We need to know what we believe and check what our preachers are preaching so we can stand firm in God’s Truth.

“As I urged you when I went into Macedonia, stay there in Ephesus so that you may command certain people not to teach false doctrines any longer 4 or to devote themselves to myths and endless genealogies. Such things promote controversial speculations rather than advancing God’s work—which is by faith” ~ 1 Timothy 1:3-4.
